Village consultative councils,
neighbourhood councils and mosque committees at various camps are
called to enhance and improve their presentations of village residents
and Mukims to make them more attractive with more varieties during
get-together ceremony with His Majesty in conjunction with the
monarch's upcoming 57th birthday celebrations. This was stated by the
Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Dato Paduka Awg Hj Adanan at a
meeting with the committee for His Majesty's 57th Birthday
Celebrations for the Tutong district.
Held at the Tutong's civic centre, he
also urged for more exposure on the involvement of youths in the
presentation as they are valuable assets to the country who should be
given attention and who, being the future generation, shoulders the
responsibility to continue to run the country's development.
"My presence today is to hear
preparations that have been and will be implemented by the chairman of
various presentations for the get-together ceremony with His Majesty's
subjects in the Tutong district.
"In addition, it also gave me
opportunities to exchange ideas in an effort to enhance the quality of
presentations for the upcoming birthday celebration."
Also present at the meeting were the
Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Dato Paduka Awg
Hj Md Yusof and Tutong District Officer, Awg Hepnie.
