Celebrations Attract Many In Capital

Bandar Seri Begawan - The mass gathering and procession marking the birthday anniversary of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W attracted growing interest among local community.

The involvement of the Brunei citizens and residents reflected their spirit and commitment to highlight the prophet's birthday anniversary.

Radio Television Brunei (RTB) had a closer look behind the scene of the gathering at the Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar Ali Saifuddien in the capital.

For young children, watching the event would of course become something to remember for years to come. Either unaware of not, these children were already instilled with the spirit of the prophet's birthday celebration.

The elderly also did not want to miss the celebration including a 93-year-old man, Haji Karim bin Dollah from Kampong Perpindahan Mentiri.

The Islamic Dakwah Centre and the Mufti Office had the chance to sell their religious books with attractive prices.

A tourist from Australia who works for a magazine did not want to miss this annual event and impressed with the country and its people.
