The Empire Hotel and Country Club are pleased to announce the launch of their new website, a virtual way to experience Brunei and the hotel at a click of a mouse. The website http://www.empire.com.bn or www.theempirehotel.com brings guests on a journey to find out all there is to know about The Empire Hotel and Country Club, providing comprehensive information, not only about the hotel, facilities and services but also about Brunei.

Designed by international web developer, Ann Bouisset from Worldnet Services, the newly redesigned website aims to be interesting, interactive and informative at the same time, offering users more features and a simple way to make reservations, sign up for newsletters, download brochures and so forth.

There is also a special section for the media and travel trade professionals to use as a resource, which comprises of the latest press releases and a photo gallery with high-resolution photographs for downloading.

Other interesting features are information on the latest happenings at the hotel, an up-to-date list of movies including a synopsis of each movie, a special section for Country Club members and slide shows.

The project started off in March 2003 with a target of 120 web pages. However, due to the extensive range of services and facilities and to include comprehensive information on Brunei Darussalam, the site has now a total of over 500 web pages.
