Office girl finally has peace of mind
By Rosli Abidin Yahya

The incidents of indecent exposure by a mentally unstable man who had terrorised an office girl in the capital's office complex stopped suddenly after it was publicised in the Borneo Bulletin last month. The office girl had to come to her office early every morning since her husband who sent her to work also needed to be present early in his office in Jalan Tutong.

She said after the publication she never saw the smartly-dressed man again and hoped that he had learnt his lesson.

The girl added that now security guards check the complex frequently, unlike before.

"I feel safe now because apart from the non-occurrence of indecent exposure, security guards also come to check the building every now and then," she said.

Last month, the girl complained to the Borneo Bulletin that a mentally unstable man stood outside her glass office and unzipped his trousers.

The man in his 30s was smartly dressed and had pretended to look inside a fashion shop opposite her office.

"The shop was still not open and I though he just wanted to have a look at the items being displayed.

"However, with his back facing me I noticed he had unzipped his trousers," she said.
