His Majesty to visit Brunei

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang
Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam will visit Brunei Garrison in Seria
next week to say farewell to the First Battalion, The Royal Gurkha
Rifles, a press release from the headquarters of Brunei Garrison said.
His Majesty will be met by the Garrison Commander, Lieutenant Colonel
Craig Lawrence MBE RGR. His Majesty will be greeted with a guard of
honour before witnessing the battalions' preparations for peace
support operations. His Majesty will also meet members of the
battalion and some of his subjects working at the garrison. The
British Garrison currently has over 1,000 military personnel supported
by 300 locally employed civilian staff.
