Short Term Sales Dip In Brunei
Because of Pan Products Scare

Begawan - Local pharmacies reported a short-term sales downturn
following the recall of some non-essential health products
manufactured by Pan Pharmaceuticals of Australia.
A leading pharmacy in the country,
Guardian Pharmacy, told RTB that their business is affected
temporarily. They are also now offering refund or exchange to
customers who purchased the recalled products.
Interviewed by RTB, Mr Sanjay V.
Deshmukh, a pharmacist at the Guardian Pharmacy, said that they had
begun to withdraw the products from their shelves as soon as they
learnt from the news last week.
The general public have been assured
that no reports of serious adverse drug reactions associated with the
recalled products have been received so far.
Members of the public who have
purchased the 21st Century products have been advised to contact
Hongkiat trading, the product local distributor for exchange of the
