Flowers ready for mothers and teachers

All smiles for Mother's Day

Teachers as wells as mothers in the Jigsaw Primary School in Berakas celebrated Mother's Day yesterday morning in its assembly. Around 20 kids presented their teachers and mothers with flowers and hugs to commemorate the event. It was really an emotional moment for some of the kids and their mothers.

Mrs Helen Chin, the principal of the school in her speech, stressed the importance of Mother's Day. She said mothers with unconditional love and care taught children from young. It is one of the greatest feelings that one can ever have.

She also explained how mothers sacrifice themselves to give their devoted love and care to their children and bring them up to become a person that can be proud of.

Students from Kindergarten and Primary Six presented their hand-made Mother's Day cards to their mothers yesterday at the event.
