Batang Mitus storytellers awarded

Batang Mitus Primary School in the Tutong district has dedicated the month of May 2003 as the English month. One of the programmes outlined for the month-long campaign was the "Story-Telling Competition" held May 3. The competition was aimed at improving the conversational English among the students, especially at the primary school level. Photo shows the winners with their prizes and certificates of participation. Present as the chief guest during the prize presentation ceremony was Major (R) Hj Mohd Shah bin Hj Md Noor, Penghulu of Mukim Kiudang in the Tutong District.
