Seria schools hold annual sports meet

St Michael's School and St Angela's School held their Annual Athletic Meet last Thursday at the Seria Arena. Present to grace the occasion was Awg Ali b Hj Ismail, the Head of ECA from the Co-Curriculum Department, Ministry of Education. The highlight was the 4x100m Invitational Relay, which was won by the host schools in spite of stiff competition from other schools in the district.

Red House emerged champions from St Michael's. Sharandeep Singh won the Senior Championship (Red House), Md Johardi bin Hj Johari the Intermediate Championship (Red) while Douglas Dana ak Musa won the Junior Championship (Green).

From St Angela's School, the Green House were the overall victors. Fiona Lee (Red) won the individual Junior title, Monica Jocelyn (Blue) the Intermediate while Fatimah Pratima (Green) won the Senior Championship.
