The KACA Centre yesterday received
two Japanese artists who are currently in Brunei for the Brunei-Japan
Friendship Art Exhibition. The exhibition is being held at the Empire
Hotel Country Club and over 100 pieces of fascinating artwork are on
display. At the KACA Centre, the two prominent Japanese artists, Mr
Toshio Muroi and Ms Tini Miura, gave the children an exhibition of
amazing artistic talent and they were also able to bond and play with
the kids.
The popular Japanese artists also
taught some of the children a few pointers on how to put their minds
on the canvas, which the young ones especially enjoyed.
Datin Nadzaty Azma, wife of Dato
Paduka Hj Hamdillah bin Hj Wahab, who is the president of Brunei-Japan
Friendship, accompanied the artists. Japanese delegates and
businessmen in Brunei, Naomi Tanaka, Nobumitsu Goto, Hiroshi Nanjo,
Hiroshi Sawada and Katsuto Inima were also present during the visit.
