Local remanded for alleged theft

A 39-year-old local Chinese was remanded yesterday on charges of theft while further investigations are being carried out by the police until May 17. Ting Hua Nan allegedly stole a Nokia mobile phone model 8210 belonging to another Chinese man from a car, which was parked near a fast food restaurant in Gadong on April 21.

The next mention was set to be heard on May 17.
