Flash Floods In Tutong District Strand Vehicles 

Tutong - Several areas in this country experienced flash floods following heavy rain on Friday.

Among the areas badly affected by the floods were Kampong Kupang, Sungai Kelugos Daut and Sinaut in the Tutong Disrict.

Reports said the affected areas were prone to flash floods whenever it rained heavily.

The situation is further aggravated by the poor drainage system.

Several motorists who were headed for the nearby kampongs in the vicinity were stranded for hours.

However, the condition did not deter four-wheel drive vehicles, as residents of Kampong Sinaut gave assistance to cars that got stuck in the water.  -- Courtesy of Radio Television Brunei
