Sheraton announces travel friends and family programme

Sheraton Utama Hotel, Brunei Darussalam, together with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., announced yesterday the Travel Friends and Family programme with discounted rates starting from as low as US$29, is available in some of the world's most celebrated hotels including Westin, Sheraton, St. Regis, The Luxury Collection and Four Points by Sheraton and W hotels. The promotion is for employees (and their family members) of travel agencies, travel-related media, airlines, car rental companies, cruise liners, travel management companies, national tourist offices and travel industry associations.

The Travel Friends and Family rates range from US$29 to US$69 (or the equivalent in local currency) at all participating Westin, Sheraton, St. Regis, Luxury Collection and Four Points by Sheraton and W hotels in 50 cities in Asia Pacific.

These special rates are valid for a limited time only, and is effective immediately till July 31, 2003.

"Our travel partners are very important to us and Starwood would like to extend these special industry rates in appreciation of their support," said John Mims, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Asia-Pacific. "This has been an extra-ordinarily challenging year and we hope to do what we can to support our travel partners and family with their personal travel needs," added Mims.
