Sarawak Shell visits BSP

A total of 25 officials from Sarawak
Shell Berhad (SSB) based in Lutong, Sarawak, on Friday made a goodwill
visit to Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) Company Sdn Bhd in Seria. Among
of the objectives of the visit were to familiarise the SSB officials
with BSP operations and to take heed of the best practices that are in
place in the company. The Frontline Operations M1/M3 offshore
platforms of SSB delegates, were headed by Sufri Sulaiman, M3
Operations Installation Manager, M3-Offshore Sarawak. Their visit
started at the Operation Control Centre (OCC), where Hj Salleh Hj Mohd
Daud (PCC), Head Coordination Control Centre at BSP, gave an overview
of OCC.
Hj Salleh explained the role of the
control centre that uses the new concept architecture. The group then
proceeded to the Oil and Gas Discovery Centre (OGDC) and toured the
seven galleries of the exhibition hall.
They were also briefed on the mission
and objectives of the establishment of OGDC.
