Ten Pin Bowling For PM's Departments Begins

Bandar Seri Begawan - The 10-Pin Bowling 2003 Tournament for departments under the Prime Ministers Office has begun at the Utama Bowling Centre near the capital.

The Permanent Secretary at the Prime Ministers Office Pengiran Haji Abdul Hamid officially launched the tournament yesterday.

Twentyone teams representing ten departments out of the 22 departments under the Prime Minister's Office are taking part in the tournament. The teams were divided into two groups, 'A' and 'B'.

The matches were to determine the best four in Group 'A'. Matches for Group 'B' will be held on Sunday.

The champions will receive a challenge trophy donated by the Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office Pengiran Haji Abdul Hamid.

The tournament is the first of its kind being organised by the Prime Minister's Office. The Audit Department and the Petroleum Unit are conducting the event this time.  -- Courtesy of Radio Television Brunei
