Quarter-final fixtures for English quiz announced

Following the completion of the Round Robin for the National English Language Quiz for Secondary Schools 'WORD PLAY 2003' sponsored by HSBC for secondary schools, CFBT would like to announce the line-up for the Quarter- finals as follows: St Andrew's School vs SM Menglait, St John's School KB vs International School Brunei, St George's School vs STPRI, St Margaret's School KB vs Jerudong International School. The Quarterfinals will be conducted June 10, 2003 at the CfBT office in BSB, and the Semifinals for the 3rd and 4th Place match will take place on same day. Full details of matches will be faxed to the participating schools this week.

In addition, CfBT Education Services Brunei Sdn Bhd would like to inform the public that the Language Teaching Conference jointly organised by CfBT and British Council has been postponed from 5th June until further notice later in the year. CfBT would also like to convey their appreciation to those who sent in their proposals. For further details individuals may contact CfBT.
