RBPF runs spot-check on foreign
workers
The Royal Brunei Police Force
continues to keep a close watch on foreign workers by conducting yet
another surprise visit at various foreign quarters in the country, RTB
reported yesterday. The latest operation dubbed "Operasi 12"
was carried out last night by CID personnel of the Jerudong Police.
Their target were several workers' quarters in Kg Jerudong.
During the operation which began at
10 pm Thursday night, 18 Bangladeshis and 5 Filipinos were stopped for
questioning. All were later released after having producing their
travel documents before the police officers.
The operation was the 12th of its
kind to be carried out by the Royal Brunei Police Force in its fight
against crimes in the country.
Meanwhile, foreign workers in the
country are once again reminded to bring along their identity card,
passport or related travelling documents at all times.
