Expanded HRD Cooperation Up At
ASEAN Labour Ministers' Meet

Begawan - Asean Labour Ministers and ASEAN dialogue partners
are expected to discuss the mechanism to expand cooperation especially
in human resource development at the 17th ASEAN Labour Ministers
Meeting in Mataram, Indonesia yesterday.
The meeting with People's Republic of
China, Japan and Korea - ASEAN dialogue partners - will proceed with
the meeting between ASEAN labour ministers and ASEAN dialogue partners
known as A-L-M-M plus three the next day.
It started two days ago with the
ASEAN senior labour officers' meeting. Meanwhile, the meeting between
the ASEAN senior labour officers and their dialogue partners would
start today.
Leading Brunei representatives at the
meeting is Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Dato Awang, Haji
Adanan.
Also in the delegation are the
Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Dato Mohammad
Yusof, the Acting Commissioner of Labour and several
senior officers at the Ministry of Home Affairs. --
