Chicken Wing Goes Up In Smoke For Cook In Hot Soup

Kuala Belait - A Malaysian cook has been found guilty of smuggling.

Tan Beng Hong, 34, who is employed as a cook was arrested by officers of the customs preventive unit laid a trap last month at the Rasau Toll road in Kuala Belait.

Tan was caught bringing in liquor, several cartons of cigarettes without the health warning label and dubious chicken wings.

For the offence, the Bandar Seri Begawan magistrates court fined Tan $1,500 or in default three months imprisonment.

All goods were confiscated whilst the vehicle used in transporting the goods was returned to the offender.  -- Courtesy of Radio Television Brunei
