Fresh Nurses Receive Their Certificates 

Bandar Seri Begawan - The nursing career like other professions is always exposed to changes influenced by technology development and socio-cultural changes in the medical and health services.

The Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry Of Education, Datin Hajah Jahrah made the point in her speech at the closing of the research and statistical package workshop for advanced diploma for nursing at the SEAMEO-VOCTECH in Gadong yesterday.

Datin Hajah Jahrah said that in facing unexpected elements such as the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome or Sars, nurses are urged to always be aware and prepared with updated skills and knowledge for effective treatment.

She emphasised on the relevance of such a workshop, especially in research work towards a quick and easier way of analysing data in Internet software.

80 accredited nurses from the Pengiran Anak Puteri Rashidah Saadatul Bolkiah College of Nursing who attended the course received their certificates.
