Ministry of Health Recalls Products Manufactured By Pan Pharmaceuticals

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Brunei Health Ministry has given an updated list of affected health food following the Australian based Pan Pharmaceuticals scare last week.

Following the Press Release by the Ministry of Health dated 5th May on products manufactured by Pan Pharmaceuticals Products, Ministry of Health would like to update the list of brand names affected as in Annex A1 and the list of products being recalled in Brunei as in Annex B1.

Members of the public are encouraged to report to the Pharmacy Enforcement Section should they find these brands which are made by Pan Pharmaceuticals, and which may have been brought into Brunei through channels other than local distributors or trading companies.

This will enable the Ministry of Health to take appropriate actions immediately.

The Ministry of Health with the cooperation of other relevant Health Authorities will continue to identify the affected brand names/products.

The Ministry of Health would like to remind consumers that their is no cause for undue alarm on this recall and while the recall is in progress consumers who may With to purchase new health supplements products are advised to verify the source of manufacture of products they wish to buy their retailers or pharmacists.

If consumers have any of the listed recalled products - home, they are reminded to stop taking them.

Anyone who is concerned in any way about the use of these products or availability of alternative products should consult their doctors or pharmacists.
