Princess Azemah Receives $12,000 For Pusat Ehsan

Bandar Seri Begawan - Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Azemah Ni'matul Bolkiah yesterday presented prizes to the winners of the Pusat Ehsan Charity Golf Tournament and received a donation for the Pusat Ehsan in Bengkurong.

Upon arrival at the Jerudong Park Golf and Country Club, the chairman of the organising committee, Dato Awang Haji Abdul Rahman, as well as other committee members welcomed Her Royal Highness.

Her Royal Highness received a donation of a cheque worth $12,000 for the Pusat Ehsan, which the chairman of the organising committee presented the donation to the Royal Highness.

Her Royal Highness then presented prizes to the winners.

The overall gross winner was Haji Saiful Rizal while Haji Saban, Simon Gellan, won the overall Nett and Salleh Yusof was winner of the Nett 'A' and 'B' divisions. Meanwhile, Ken Kho won the Nett 'C' division.

At the function, Her Royal Highness also presented letters of appreciation to donors and received a souvenir.

More than 60 golfers participated in the Pusat Ehsan Charity Golf Tournament.

Meanwhile another donation worth $8,438.00 was received from a charity golf tournament.

The Iraqi Humanitarian Fund received the proceeds from the charity golf tournament organised by the Immigration and National Registration Department.

The donation was handed over by the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Dato Haji Abdul Rahman to the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Pengiran Dato Haji Mohd Yusof as the co-chairman of the Iraqi Humanitarian Fund committee.  -- Courtesy of Radio Television Brunei
