British women to hold health talk
It is often said that 'Health is
Wealth'.
Unfortunately we often don't realise
the true value of this currency until it is gone. Throughout the
world, women who in general are responsible for taking care of the
family are notoriously bad at attending to their own health issues,
often ignoring warning signs and symptoms until they are forced to
recognise them.
With health, prevention and early
detection of symptoms our chances of avoiding and recovering from
illnesses can be dramatically improved.
It is for this reason that this
month's Coffeeplus is focused on Women's Health. BCL is delighted to
have as its guest speaker Dr. Steve Sharma, from the Loan Service
Team, who will be talking on a variety of health issues, which
especially affect women.
So ladies if you would like to know
more about how to safeguard tour health, come along to this month's
BCL Coffeeplus on 7th May at the Orchid Garden Hotel, 9.30 am.
The BCL (British Community Link)
committee members are primarily British or have links with Britain but
it welcomes and encourages ladies of all nationalities to come along
to the Coffeeplus meetings and join it as associate members. If you
would like to know more about this month's Coffeeplus or the BCL,
please call Sally Booley, Tel No.: 2611562.
