Thirty Hospital Workers Attend Health Orientation Programme

Temburong - Thirty local medical officers took part in an orientation programme for graduates and hospital workers in the Sultanate held in Temburong District yesterday.

The programme would prepare themselves with the sense of responsibility and teamwork spirit in order to achieve unity in line with the objective of the Ministry of Health.

Graduates, medical officers and administrative officers of hospitals throughout the country participated in the orientation programme.

Malai Haji Abdullah bin Malai Othman said the programme could produce cooperative team workers among units in line with the country's objective to give support and excellent health services to the public.

He added that since this programme was set up in 1999, the work quality of the staff in hospitals has improved greatly.

After this orientation in Temburong, the medical staff will continue their programme at the Medical Centre in Kampong Sukang in the Belait District.

There, they will observe and learn more about the living condition of the residents in the rural areas.  -- Courtesy of Radio Television Brunei
