'Carry Out Business Actively,'
Local entrepreneurs Told
Bandar Seri
Begawan - Local entrepreneurs especially those operating in the
Municipal area in Bandar Seri Begawan are urged to carry out their
enterprises more actively.
The call came from the Bandar Seri
Begawan Municipal Board at the International Charity Sale to collect
money for the Cambodian Muslim Community Aid.
Awang Haji Saji urged entrepreneurs
to put more effort in carrying out their businesses and to offer
interesting and quality items at reasonable and affordable prices.
He also urged the entrepreneurs to be
more creative in displaying their products, emphasising the importance
of good presentation and style in the arrangement of the items for
sale as one of the ways to attract customers.
In ensuring the sale does not involve
entrepreneurs from countries affected by SARS, the Municipal
Department had earlier consulted the authorities concerned and gave
the green light for the sale to go on.
About 50 local and foreign companies
are taking part in the charity sale, which will be on for ten days
starting yesterday.
The sale is being held at the PGGMB
Building in the capital and is open to the public from 10am until
10pm. -- Courtesy
