More Money For Palestinian Fund

Begawan - The Palestinian Humanitarian Fund yesterday received
donations from eight government agencies and associations in the
country.
With the latest contributions, the
fund has now collected $493,990 since it was launched on October 22
last year.
The Ministry of Finance donated
$3,794, the Anti-Corruption Bureau $611 and the Scouts Association
contributed $12,000.
Universiti Brunei Darussalam Mosque
came up with $302. Another $300 were received from the Pelambayan
Mosque.
The Sultan Sharif Ali Mosque put in
$201, the Kampong Belimbing Mosque contributed $660, and the surau of
the Royal Brunei Police in Gadong donated $1,568.
The donations were presented to the
Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Pengiran
Dato Haji Yusuf in his capacity as Co-chairman of the national
committee of the Palestinian Humanitarian Fund.
The fund is still open for donations
from the public. The function took place at the Ministry of Religious
