New appointments

By the command of His Majesty the Sultan, the Prime Minister's Office announced yesterday Dato Paduka Awg Hj Abdul Rahman B. Hj Ibrahim, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Finance will attend full time as the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance and relinquish the post of Acting Managing Director of Brunei Investment Agency (BIA) from May 1, 2003. His Majesty has further consented for Dato Paduka Awg Hj Abdul Rahman to remain as a member of BIA's Board of Directors.

His Majesty has also consented to appoint Awg Hj Ali B. Hj Apong, Senior Assistant Managing Director of BIA, as the Acting Managing Director of BIA from May 1.
