Wu Visit Jame’ Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque

Bandar Seri Begawan - China's Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs Wu HungBo, who is in the country to attend the 14th Aswan China Senior Consultations Meeting, yesterday paid a visit to the Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque in Kampong Kiarong.

On hand to receive Wu at the mosque was Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Ustaz Haji Ismail bin Haji Abdul Manap and Acting Senior Religious Officer of Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque Haji Amynoor bin Haji Md Yaakub.

Also present to lead the tour was Senior Technical Religious Officer Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Metali.

Prior to the tour, Wu signed the visitor's hook and exchanged souvenirs with Haji Amynoor.

The Chinese minister also visited other places of interest in the country, such as the Rrunci Museum and the Royal Regalia.-- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
