Closing Ceremony Of Dzikir Maulad Syarafil Anam

Bandar Seri Begawan - Ma'had Islam Brunei held the closing ceremony of Dzikir Maulad Syarafil Anam in conjunction with Maulidur Rasul at its surau.

Present as the event's guest of honour was Hj Azahari Hj Iradat, the Penghulu of Mukim Pekan Tutong. The ceremony began with a mass Dzikir recital that began with the Dzikir Assalamualaika, Khairuman, Bisyahrin, Alham and Dzikir Badat.

This was followed with a prize presentation by the guest of honour for the recently concluded Azan and Tausyeh competition. Dzikir Maulud is celebrated to remember the birth of Prophet Mohammad (peace he upon him) and religious activities are usually held to mark the occasion. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
