Courtesy Call By US Commander

Bandar Seri Begawan – The Ministry of Defence yesterday morning received an official visit by the Commander of the United States Pacific Command, Admiral William Fallon at Bolkiah Garrison.

Admiral William Fallon called on Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Hj Md Yussof, at the Ministry of Defence.

This was followed by another courtesy call to Deputy Minister of Defence, Pehin Datu Singamanteri Colonel (Rtd) Dato Paduka Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar.

Following the visit at the Ministry of Defence, Admiral William Fallon then called on Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy, Colonel (L) Joharie bin Haji Matussin, at the Royal Brunei Navy's Headquarters.

Accompanying Admiral William Fallon during the visit was Mr Emit Skodon, US Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam.

Admiral William Fallon is in Brunei Darussalam with 16 other officials on an official introductory visit from February 28 till March 2. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
