Crown Prince Visits Kg Ayer

Begawan – His Royal Highness Crown Prince Pg Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee
Billah made a working visit to several mukims and villages in Kampong
Ayer yesterday.
His Royal Highness mingled with many
of the residents of Kg Ayer, which has about six mukims, 19 villages
and a total population of 17,000 people.
The itinerary started at the Hj Tarif
Primary School, followed by a visit to the residence of the Penghulu
of Mukim Tamoi, Pengarah Awg Hj Mokti Mohd Salleh.
His Royal Highness then toured Kg
Burong Pingai Ayer where HRH also visited a traditional cloth weaving
enterprise, followed by a stop at the home of the Mukim Burung Pingai
Ayer Penghulu.
From Mukim Burong Pingai Ayer, His
Royal Highness headed to Mukim Peramu, Mukim Saba, Kg Setia `A', the
Kg Ayer Police Station and Mukim Sungai Kebun.
HRH performed mass Zohor prayers at
the Perdana Wangsa Hj Mohammad Mosque in Kg Setia before continuing
his journey.
Other places on the itinerary were
the Marine Fire Station, Pengiran Anak Puteri Besar Primary School, Kg
Limbungan and Kg Sg Kedayan.
His Royal Highness wrapped up his
working visit by attending mass 'Asar' prayers at the Sultan Omar Ali
Saifuddien Mosque in the capital. --
