All Set For World Water Day Splash

Bandar Seri Begawan - Members of the public are encouraged to participate in the activities lined up as part of the World Water Day 2005.

Organised by the Department of Water Services, the events to be held are "World Water Day Splash", set to be held from April 1 to 3 and Cycling Expedition on April 3.

The World Water Day Splash 2005 is scheduled to be launched on April 1 by chief guest, Awg Haji Md. Zin bin Haji Md. Salleh, Acting Head of Director, Public Works Department, at 8am at the parking lot of the Public Works Department in Berakas Old Airport.

Activities such as Pony Ride (carriage), bouncers, ghost house and remote radio control car racing will be held.

The public will also have the opportunity to view on exhibition of photography and selected drawings as well as artworks from the Art Attack competition recently.

On the same day, the Women Benara Fun activities will also be held which include fun and games such as body and face painting, magnetic fishing, hoop the duck, and many more. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
