Chairs Missing At Belait Mosque
By Liza Mohd

Kuala Belait - Close to 100 plastic chairs have reportedly gone missing. The chairs had been used for an al-Quran reading competition held at the Kg Pandan Mosque in Kuala Belait recently.

The owner of the chairs also owns a catering company and had provided food for the said ceremony.

He told the Bulletin that after the ceremony on March 9, he had been collecting the chairs when he noticed that 90 chairs were missing.

Mosque officials were also puzzled with the incident. They said that they had not realised that the chairs were missing.

The chairs are believed to have gone missing during the night. The owner hopes that the chairs will be returned to him as soon as possible.

He added that he hadn't made a police report as he believes the chairs may have been taken away by mistake. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
