Bandar Seri Begawan - The Royal Embassy of Cambodia yesterday held a luncheon meeting with programme organisers and participants of a training programme for ASEAN senior government officers.

On behalf of Mr Ith Dettola, the ambassador of Royal Embassy of Cambodia, present was Mr Taing Sockngy, third secretary cum deputy of head of mission.

It was also attended by Dr Chan Kim Loy, programme coordinator and Susi Ibrahim, deputy coordinator.

Mr Sockngy said the Royal Embassy of Cambodia hosted the lunch to express its appreciation for the efforts of His Majesty's government in providing the most important training course for the Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam government officials.

He said the Initiative for Asean Integration (IAI) under the Executive Development Programme (EDP) will play an important role in elevating the management skills of participants from CLMV countries to narrow the gap between them and their counterparts in other Asean countries. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
