Religious Fetes For Students On Holiday

Bangar - Various beneficial activities are being held for students during the current first term school holidays in the Temburong district.

One such activities was the reading of sermon contest for youngsters between the ages of 12 and 15 years.

Other activities included the memorising of the ayat ayat lazim or Quranic verses for children between 9 and 11 years old.

There was also a colouring contest for pupils of between 6 and 8 years old.

Organised by the Mosque Affairs Department and conducted by the Temburong Mosque Affairs Office, the programmes aimed to draw the youths in glorifying mosques. -- Courtesy of Radio Television Brunei
