Maktab Duli Holds Charity Jumbo Sale Tomorrow

Bandar Seri Begawan - Maktab Duli Pengiran Muda Hj Al-Muhtadee Billah will be holding a charity Jumbo Sale from March 24 to 26 at the college's dining hall.

Visitors will be able to find various goods at bargain prices such as second hand CDs, clothing and books.

Pusat Ehsan will also be setting up a stall during the event selling arts and handicrafts.

Additionally, Standard Chartered Bank will also be participating to promote its latest products and services.

The Jumbo Sale is a charity event organised by members of the PYRO (Pioneering Youths Reach Out) group of the college.

All proceeds from stall rental charges will be donated to Pusat Ehsan.

Those interested in setting up a stall for $10 a day can contact Muria at 8836660.

The Jumbo Sale is the first project organised by PYRO, which is a newly established charitable organisation, consisting of students from the sixth form to college.

PYRO aims to encourage volunteer work among the students of the college, to increase awareness, and to assist and reach out to the less fortunate and disabled. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
