Hijrah Village For Youths Visit NCCB

Bandar Seri Begawan - A visit to the Narcotic Control and Anti-Corruption Bureaus was made yesterday by the Hijrah Village for Youths to hear briefings on their roles and functions.

It was participated in by 47 students from schools in the Brunei-Muara District to learn more about the two government agencies.

They attended a Fardhu Kifayah (religious obligation) session on Monday when a briefing was heard from the Syariah Department on the slaughter of animals according to Islam.

The students then got an opportunity to try it for themselves. A closing ceremony is scheduled to take place tomorrow afternoon. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
