Aftermath of a 50-hectare blaze

The picture shows the extent of the haze brought about by the recent Berakas Forest Reserve blaze. The resulting shroud of haze descended upon residents living within the nearby vicinities of Perpindahan Lambak in Berakas as well as those in Jalan Muara. Members of the public are reminded not to carry out open burning and are also urged to contact the Fire Brigade (995) in the event of a fire breakout.
