Brunei share points with Kedah
By Alex How

Brunei stole a point in Stadium Darulaman, Kedah as they fought back vigorously and drew 2-2 with Kedah in their M-League Group A match last night.

Brunei had a terrible start against the unbeaten Kedah as they conceded two quick goals in just three minutes in the first half.

Malaysia Cup 2004 finalist Kedah were unbeaten, winning three games and drawing three coming into the match. Kedah's striker Gabriel Mendez celebrated with over 20,000 supporters in the stadium after he knocked in the first goal in the first minute.

Kedah's talisman Akmal Rizal set up the second goal in the 3rd minute when he crossed in the ball towards Samuel Shandel and made it 2-0.

Amir Alagic's team regained their composure after the restart. Rosmini Hj Abdul Kahar pulled one back for Brunei in the 68th minute. Brunei's striker Oluseye seized the opportunity and disposed off a Kedah defender and quickly sent it forward to Brunei's young star Rosmini to make it 2-1.

Nine minutes later, Brunei's new import player Idrizovic Ferid beat the Kedah keeper Megat Amir Faisal Al-Khalidi bin Ibrahim and equalised to make it 2-2.
