Pusat Ehsan's blood donation campaign

Some 60 donors took part in a blood donation campaign at the Pusat Ehsan's multipurpose hall yesterday.

The targeted donors were members of the Executive Committee of Pusat Ehsan, staff members and trainees of Pusat Ehsan as well as family members of the students and members of the public.

Organised by the centre itself, the campaign was aimed at increasing the blood supply of the Blood Bank and to get the centre involved in community projects apart from its present services, which are education, training and rehabilitation for the special people.

Another objective of the blood donation was bringing in the public to Pusat Ehsan to create awareness on the programmes and services provided. It was also a way of conveying their appreciation to the public in return for their help in operating programmes for the special children and adults at the centre.

Meanwhile a lucky draw was held and donors were also presented with certificates of participation.
