Grand opening of Amar Ma'arof Enterprise

The first Malay owned electrical goods and supplies shop - Amar Ma'arof Enterprise - was officially opened yesterday by chief guest Dato Paduka Hj Mahmud bin Hj Bakyr, Special Duties Officer at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

Also present at yesterday's grand opening were invited guests and representatives of electrical suppliers as well as customers.

According to Awg Haji Ma'arof bin Haji Md. Ya'akub, the owner cum chairman, various activities have been lined up in conjunction with the grand opening, which include colouring contest open to children aged between seven and 10 years old, to be held on April 10 at 8.30am.

Various brands of electrical goods are sold at the shop, which is located in Kg Kiulap.
