Royalty Grants Audience To Newly Appointed Brunei Envoys

Bandar Seri Begawan - Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha yesterday granted an audience to newly appointed Brunei envoy Pg Datin Paduka Hjh Masrainah binti Pg Hj Ahmad, the Brunei High Commissioner to Australia, at the Istana Nurul Iman.

Earlier, Her Majesty had also granted an audience to Mrs Sopa Poltegia, the spouse of the Thai Ambassador to Brunei.

Meanwhile, in a separate audience yesterday, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince Pg Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah granted an audience to the three newly-appointed Brunei envoys.

The new local ambassadors are Pg Dato Paduka Awg Hj Shariffudin, Brunei Ambassador to Thailand; Magdalene Teo Chee Siong, Brunei High Commissioner to Canada; and, Pg Datin Paduka Hjh Masrainah, Brunei High Commissioner to Australia.

HRH Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah also granted an audience to the spouse of Pg Dato Paduka Awg Hj Shariffudin together with Pg Datin Paduka Hjh Masrainah and Magdalene Teo. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
