Seminar on waterproofing

There will be a four-day seminar on the Integral Crystalline Concrete Waterproofing System, for PWD, technical institutes and bumiputra contractors on March 21 at the Training Centre, Ministry of Development.

The seminar is organised by Aman Setia.

Waterproofing sold in the Brunei market has never met the standard of requirement thus there is a continuous leaking problem, said the organiser.

This seminar course is a window of opportunity for bumiputra contractors to be a certified applicator. With the certificate they can register with the Ministry of Development as approved application under class 5d - waterproofing.

The first session is for government officials, consultants and architects.

The session is for our local contractors.

The course will include introduction to integral crystalline concrete waterproofing, about concrete, methods of testing, quality assurances, material calculation, application and product range. Alain Lok from Canada, Executive Manager, Asia-Pacific, will run the course.
