MoE Officials And US Envoy At American Education Fair In Singapore

Bandar Seri Begawan - Delegates from the Ministry of Education (MoE) represented Brunei at the recently held Linden US University Fair in Singapore to learn more about the US University education system.

The MoE officials met with administrators from 22 universities and attended talks on the US University system and the admission process.

The working visit was said to be valuable to the US University administrators too, as they were able to learn more about the Brunei Education system.

The Brunei delegation comprised of Awg Othman bin Hj Simbran, Assistant Director of the Brunei Darussalam National Accreditation Council Head of Scholarship, Dyg Hjh Siti Jarah Hj Jumat, Welfare Officer; and, Dyg Hjh Shadiah Hj Chuchu, Senior Education Officer.

The delegation was accompanied by Mr Gene B. Christy, the US Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam, and Merlin Kong, US Embassy's Education and Cultural Affairs Specialist.
