Fire Razes Wooden House In Seria

Seria - A wooden house was gutted in a fire incident that took place at the housing area of Lorong Tiga Seria on Thursday night.

The double-storey house was said to have been vacant for the past three years.

The Seria Fire Station received the emergency call from the BSP Fire Station regarding the incident at around 9pm and promptly dispatched a team of nine Fire Services personnel led by Deputy Commanding Officer Awg Aza Nisham and Deputy Assistant Commanding Officer Pg Rosh bin Pg Hj Ahmad.

The firefighters managed to put out the fire in under five minutes. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
