Sheraton Awards Housekeeping
Associates

Begawan - Sheraton Utama Hotel recently honoured its
housekeeping associates during an awards presentation reception held
at the Menchanai Room of the hotel.
Winners in the five categories of the
recognition and award programme for 2004 received their awards at the
function.
The winner for the category Ms Clean,
which is based on the highest score attained from Quality Assurance
inspection, was Tida Anak Sidu.

Imas Yulli received the best attendance award while Beatrice Pelen won
the most productive trainer award, which is based on the number of
hours put into training another associate.
Present at the reception were Datin
Hajah Zainah Bujang, the General Manager of the hotel, and members of
the Executive Committee.
The Executive Housekeeper, Sumantri
Endang, was the host for the ceremony.
The most active trainee award was won
by Hjh. Rohani Tengah, who had attended 157 hours of training in 2004.
The most productive associate award,
which is based on the ability to handle tasks with less supervision
and a display of creativity when executing daily tasks, went to
Salvador D Casugay.
All the award recipients were
presented with a certificate of recognition as well as a Starwood
Cares gift.
The event is conducted annually as
part of the Starwood Cares for Associate programme to show
appreciation towards the hotel associates' commitment and diligence in
carrying out their duties. --
