Kuala Belait – The Brunei Liquefied Natural Gas yesterday morning handed over a used fire engine to the Jefri Bolkiah College of Engineering for the practical use of its students in a ceremony that took place at the college.

The donation marked the continued support of private firms in the development of technical education in the country.

The vehicle has also undergone routine maintenance and inspection at the BLNG.

During the handing over ceremony, Awang Haji Yusof bin Taufik, the Special Advisor of Health of the BLNG, representing the company in his speech said that the handing over of the vehicle is in line with the company's aspiration to support sustainable development.

It also demonstrated the company’s social obligation to the community in the country, including in the field of education and human resource development.
