$5,000 Excellence Hut Inaugurated In Labu School

Bangar - The government of His Majesty welcomes any form of initiative from any non- governmental organisation in helping to boost the duality of education in the country.

One such proof of the good rapport between government agencies and non-governmental organisations was the inauguration of the $5,000 Excellence Hut at the Labu Estate Primary School in the Temburong District yesterday morning donated by a local timber company.

The Excellence Hut was inaugurated by Koh Han Yong, the Manager of the Seenukuh Timber Company.

Awang Lamat bin Haji Lakim, the Temburong Senior Education Officer, the headmaster and teachers of the school witnessed the event.

The hut was built to assist the school in its educational programmes especially outdoor educational activities.

The Labu Estate' Primary School is situated in Mukim Labu, some 16 kilometres from Pekan Bangar. It has 28 pupils attending morning and afternoon classes.

Last year, the school recorded 100 per cent passes in the PSR Examinations.
