Sultan At Borneo Bulletin

Bandar Seri Begawan - His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei visited the publishing house of the Borneo Bulletin yesterday during his many stops at the Beribi Industrial area.

On arrival at the publishing house, the monarch was greeted by Prince Abdul Qawi, Executive Deputy Chairman and Director of QAF Brunei, and other senior staff of Brunei Press Sdn. Bhd.

During his visit, His Majesty made an extensive tour of the printing plant with the first stop at the Graphic Design Department where the staff briefed the ruler on the software technology.

His Majesty visited the pre-press operations department and then moved onto the printing area where the monarch switched on the web printing machine and was pleasantly surprised to find a fresh print of the limited Special Edition of Borneo Bulletin.

The monarch took a closer look at the newsroom of Borneo Bulletin, which is entirely manned by local staff and met with reporters and editors of Borneo Bulletin and Media Permata and viewed day-to-day operations during the brief tour of the editorial department. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
