Dinner Held For UK Education Exhibition Supporters

Bandar Seri Begawan - A dinner reception was held Monday evening at the Sheraton Hotel to show appreciation and gratitude to all loyal supporters in making the UK Education Exhibition a success.

Part of the exhibition's objectives was to build a potential network and inform local students on the privileges of studying in the UK.

Present as guest of honour at the reception was Mr Andrew Caie, British High Commissioner to Brunei.

It was also attended by Gerry Liston, the British Council Director from KL, and John Phillip from the University of Wales in Cardiff.

The British Council in Brunei thanked its exhibitors and suppliers for taking part.

Also present at the event were representatives from 19 UK institutions as well as other local exhibitors and distinguished guests.

According to the British Council, they will be holding another UK Education Exhibition some time in August this year and members of the public are welcome to attend the upcoming event. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
